Boxing Day 2014
This was a left overs day at the motel, a great day with just family. Yasmine and Rory,my sister Angela and husband Martin,Brian's brother Terry and wife Patricia their son and his family from Qld. A relaxed low key few hours sitting under the tree having a bite to eat and drink. The area around our motel was free of people so we had it all to ourselves. I gave Angela a 12 x12 canvas of a scrapbook page I had done earlier in the year and while house sitting at Morayfield - Harvey Norman had a special on 12 x12 canvas's I decided this was to be her gift, she loved it however as they are now to have house repairs done due to the earthquakes it is safely packed away until the repairs are over, as they have to move out of their house while this is done.
Christmas Day 2014
Christmas Day for us was a very relaxed day spent at Yasmine and Adam's, along with young Rory and Adam's parents Rose and Mark. It was simply the best day no fuss or bother.Drinking and eating as we do all too much. We had all been out for a Christmas meal prior to Christmas Day hence the very easy day. The weather was amazing in fact it turned out very very hot in the afternoon and by BBQ time it was certainly very warm. A light lunch of finger foods and nibbles then BBQ for dinner Snags, Whitebait Fritters salad and fresh bread, more drinks although I was driving I could not have much. The best Christmas since 2011 when Yasmine and the family came over.
