As Terry & Patricia had arrived on Bribie we booked the van site
next to them for Queens Birthday weekend - June 8-910 and home again on
the afternoon of the 11th. We arrived mid afternoon on the Friday as started work at 0600am to allow me to finish earlier, it was a long weekend and we really thought the H/Way would be shocking however we were very surprised to find it not too bad at all. Arriving on Bribie around 3.30pm we were soon set up on the great corner site next to Terry and Patricia, you can just see Terry & Patricia's van behind ours (see the blue gazebo that is there entertaining area) we went to the local pub for dinner and had seniors meals complete with free dessert, arrriving back at the van's around 8.30 cuppa tea time and then all 4 of us were yawning so bed was the next best thing. We woke on Saturday to rain and it continued all weekend and was pretty cold and windy so no sitting out in the sun that weekend. Of course the day we were due to leave it turned out fine. We left around 4.00pm on the Monday arvo and were once again dreading the H/Way due to traffic volume - luckily for us the gridlock was heading once again south and we re were going north, the 3rd to last photo shows the traffic gridlock heading south. Once home Brian decides the roll out awning needs a good wash. We had a great relaxing weekend one we do each time Terry & Patricia come over.
